April begins our Floyd Earth Month! There will be LOTS of fun Nature activities through the end of the month. You can find all of the events here!

Floyd Earth Month Activities and Events

On Saturday, April 26th, join Partnership for Floyd, Springhouse, and over a dozen nature oriented organizations for a collaborative Earth Day Celebration event at Warren G. Lineberry Park, 10AM-3PM
The Procession of Appalachian Species will take place 12-2 PM, parading through the Town of Floyd. Each year Springhouse celebrates the great biodiversity of our region by building and parading with giant puppets. These puppets are a way of honoring and highlighting these amazing creatures in an attempt to bring consciousness and conservation to this immense resource in our region.
Please join us for the giant puppet parade 12- 2 PM. All are welcome to celebrate in the way you are called; we need musicians, extra puppeteers, dancers, etc!
The Day’s Activities Include:
- Earth Day Celebration Workshops & Exhibits
- Crafts for all ages
- Music
- Barter Fair
- Nature Walks & more to be announced!
