Each year the Partnership for Floyd hosts an Earth Week event. This year was no exception, in fact PFF turned it into a week-long celebration with schedule of daily events and gatherings. (See the 2024 schedule here)

The 2024 Celebration was co-sponsored by Springhouse School and culminated with a day-long event in Lineberry Park. The day’s events included a tree sale (150 saplings were sold), music by Handmade Music School kids, a “trashy” fashion show and a Puppet Parade of Appalachian Species.

The Partnership for Floyd also celebrated its 20th year of service to the community with a free ice cream social and was awarded a Proclamation by the Town of Floyd.
